about us -
At That Table Guy, we take old Wisconsin barn wood and give it a second life as the kind of tables you build memories around. No shortcuts, no fake “rustic” finishes — just real, hardworking lumber with decades of stories etched right into the grain. We’re a small Lake Mills operation that believes good furniture should feel honest, last forever, and carry a little local history in every board. If you love pieces with character, charm, and a hint of Midwest mischief, you’re in the right place.
( Meet the Crew)
Around here, everyone’s got a role, a story, and usually a joke ready to go. We’re a small family team that runs on coffee, grit, and the shared belief that good work should make you proud (and maybe make you laugh a little, too).
Dad — The Table Guy
The man with the tools, the vision, and a very specific way he likes things measured. He’s the steady hands behind every table and the reason this whole operation exists.
Uncle Jimmy — The Wood Wrangler
If it’s stacked, stored, seasoned, or suspiciously heavy, Jimmy’s had his hands on it. He’s the barn-wood librarian of the bunch — he just knows things.
Natalie — The Creative One
Design, branding, photos, website — if it looks sharp or sounds clever, she probably made it happen (usually while dodging sawdust).
Jordan — The People Person
The friendly face who helps customers find the table they didn’t know they needed. He could sell you a table, but he’d rather just chat and let the wood do the convincing.
